IDM supports health promotion and prevention, access to health care, clean water & education.
IDM, a faith-based non-profit, was founded in 2001 by a small group of Northern Nevada individuals interested in providing sustainable community assistance with financial funding and professional expertise. IDM projects are designed to provide basic life necessities such as water, health care and education, as well as stimulate sustainable spiritual, physical, and economic growth. IDM endeavors to bring resources to address needs that have been identified by local communities in developing areas.
Mua Hills Medical Clinic
Mua Hills Medical Clinic was the first completed project of IDM, and opened in 2004 offering health care services to residents independent of ability to pay.
Education and Library
The Learning Center was constructed adjacent to the clinic to provide educational resources to schools in the Mua Hills area and surrounding areas.
Clean Water
IDM has worked cooperatively with local community members and students from the University of Nevada, Reno to install low cost water solutions.
